6 Self Love Rituals to Relieve Stress

You are worthy of love. We are all worthy of love. So why do we put more energy into others than ourselves?

It’s a constant pattern I skip into. I have been on a self love healing journey since my challenging pregnancy, delivery and NICU experience. These rituals above have allowed me to grant myself space for grace and self-compassion. But it wasn’t until a major breakthrough, in my Revelation Breathwork facilitator training program, that I realized I was missing one HUGE component. I needed to tell myself “I love you.” As a parent, I receive and give a lot of love. I’m talking A LOT of it. But giving and receiving it to myself fully, was a meaningful missing piece. This extra layer of self-love is exactly what I needed.

Trusting your intuition and loving yourself, can minimize the impact of your stressors and provide such an intense tension release. Below are six self love rituals to relieve stress to get you started:

  1. Meditate: focus on consciousness and peace

  2. Move: exercise in a way that feels good and works for you

  3. Breathwork: build self-awareness and self-healing

  4. Eat Well: nourish your body with a nutritious diet

  5. Rest and Replenish: practice self-care and self-compassion

  6. Journal: write out your thoughts and visions

Whether you have a lot or a little love surrounding you, there is always space for more self love.
